Vrindavana and Mathura are
the most important places of pilgrimage for devotees of Krishna. Krishna was
born in Mathura and spent His childhood in Vrindavan.
Lord Krishna is the Supreme Person. Lord
Krishna appeared over five thousand years ago in Mathura, India to Devaki and
Vasudeva in the jail cell of the tyrant Kansa.

sought after devout centers in Mathura. Its predominance over the other holy
spots are due to the belief that the temple stands on the same place where lord
Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudev.
The place of His birth is known as Sri
Krishna Janmasthana or Birthplace of lord krishna. We start from very beginning
from the birthplace of lord Krishna. Mathura is the birth place of lord Krishna.

main pilgrim center in Mathura is the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple.
A magnificent temple for paying obeisance to
Lord Shri Krishna was constructed by Seth Ramkrishnaji Dalmia in memory of his
pious mother, Smt. Jadia Devi Dalmia.
It is
believed by the devotees that a darshan of the long-haired Keshavadevji, who is
the complete incarnation of Vishnu, Rasa and love, can earn the blessings of
the Lord.
It is
their unshakable belief that a darshan of Lord Keshavadevji can fulfil wishes
and wash away the sins of the devotees. Today, this temple has become a centre
of attraction for visitors from India and abroad.
A miracle observed here is that innumerable
forms of Shri Radha-Krishna have appeared on the Makrana marble slabs of the
