TourItinerary
Day 01
Arrive Calicut Airport/Railway station and drive to
Wayanad. After check in at hotel and fresh up, travel for Sightseeing. Of Wayanad Heritage Museum
It displays amazing collection of the equipments, utensils used in Second
century by the tribals in Wayanad. Then move on to Edakkal Caves where
you need to trek almost 1 km one way. It is a natural cave with ancient
inscriptions on the walls, which has been attracting lot of people. Evening,
visit Jain Temple at Sulthan Bathery, one of the ancient Jain
temples displaying the beauty of architecture without the help of any modern
facilities. Late evening, return to Hotel and leisure.
Day 02
After breakfast, check out from
the hotel and move for sightseeing. The highlights of second day are:
Soochipara Waterfalls (a scenic waterfall near to Meppady, with almost 1 Km
trekking, get below the falls if you desire). Lakkidi view point (amazing view
of the valley from the top of ghat section, measuring height of 700 meters
above mean sea level), Chain Tree (the places is near Lakkidi with a
mythical/historical story behind the name), Pookot Lake (very close to highway
near Vythiri resort , a natural fresh water lake at an altitude of about 800
meter from sea level, with track around the lake, perfect place for unwinding
with boating facilities). Evening, return to the hotel.
Day 03
First thing in the morning,
travel to Muthanga Wild Life Sanctuary (Arrive at 0600-0630 for Jungle safari
by Jeep at 0700h). Come back to the hotel and after breakfast, check out from
hotel and move for further sightseeing. Remaining day visit, Banasura Sagar Dam
near Pinangode followed by departure transfer to Calicut Airport/Railway
station.
Cancellation
You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour
by notifying us in writing, which must be signed by the person that signed the
Reservation Form. If you cancel on or before 30 days before the first day of
the tour, we will retain your deposit to cover our costs. In addition, if the
cancellation notification is received less than 30 days prior to the first day
of the tour, additional cancellation charges shall be as follows:
